jk, that's old news. recently i joined a facebook group called "When I was your age, Pluto was a Planet" i thought i was kinda funny and weird that is. anyways, i realized i haven't updated this in like a long time, kinda strange cuz it seems like i update it a lot, but it's more like once a week, i'll work on that. anyways, not much has been goin on, just working and playing poker. hah. yup. okay, i confess it. I've been playing poker a lot lately, is it an addition? no. i think? well, i know it's not cuz i could totally stop and not play for atleast a week straight.......(crickets)....... but seriously, i love poker oh man, but i won't go on about it. To set it straight, it's not about the money, if i win, yea that's cool, if i lose i don't really care, it was worth it. It's just fun sitting there, playin cards and just makin jokes the whole time and havin fun. more of a social thing. anyways, no reason to go on about this, i like poker, it's a hobby, i do pretty well and it's a blast. cool.
Umm, the canada video, i know i have greg dc and ryan on my back about it, for those that don't know, when we all went to canada we made like 18 videos and daniels camera, so we have a movie comin out within a day or two once i finish up some stuff. it's about 20 minutes long and full of fun, hah. it'll be great.
Today was sunny. This morning was great. Woke up, took a shower, went downstairs and drank my morning chocolate milk, chatted with my dad, talked about wedding stuff for my sis, watched tv for a bit, drove to work, on the way to work, i let people in in front of me, waved to the dude drivin the lil cart thing on those overload huge trucks, he had a lil sign in his window that said "BIG TRUCKS RULE!" i laughed. I had the top down, the wind drying my hair, people singin in cars next to me, people dancin, it was a jolly morning. Thank you sunshine. please stay. oh man, within like a month it's gonna be ALL gone. last week i was talkin to my uncle, the one that invented that switch that's apparently gonna make millions, and he was talkin about movin to arizona, cuz that's where he's gonna build the company, i asked why, he started describing how much he hates winters here and how dark and gloomy and how depressed everyone gets, hah he became soo sad just talking about it, lol, look like he was gonna cry hahah it was awesome. but he's right, winter sucks here, only good thing is the first few rains are nice and then if it snows it's pretty cool.
okay u dont have to read anymore. i'm pretty much done now. althought the last few days i've found some sweet stuff online.

Pzizz - basically a nap program. umm actually there's a lot of info there about this 25 year study that was just finished and basically if u take a nap like in the middle of the day it up your productivity 35% and decision making by 50%. pretty sweet. but yea it also lists a ton of companies that took control of this and have "nap" rooms and stuff for workers that are just way tired and need a nap to help get them workin again. sweet.

When guys play every girl, as in flirt with any girl he thinks is cute, and leads her on and says, what? i didn't know i was doing that.
People that go as low as to make jokes about someone putting them down, just so they themselves can get laughs.
When you rip toilet paper and it rips vertically instead of horizontally.
When your door is closed and someone comes inside the room, talks, leaves, WITHOUT closing the door behind them.
When IMing someone on AIM they respond every 10 minutes, hah, i do it too though.

Canada. Underoath. Birth Certificate.

soo, man, time flies. maybe i just need to post here more. I was thinkin everyday bt that's a bitt much. somehow a week flew by, but a lot happened. First me, daniel, greg and ryan went to Canada on Thursday to go to the Underoath show. It was pretty much the highlight of my summer cuz some rad stuff happened on the way there and back, well not exactly rad but random and gay but fun to look back and laugh at, for one, i did the dumbest thing i've ever done in my life, tell ya in a sec. Sometime i do wanna write out what all happened, but my words wouldn't do, so we have like 18 videos we made on daniels camera that we'll be posting on myspace soon enough. but yea Underoath was AMAZING and the coolest part was their encore, which they came back out and were like we're just gonna be rad and play 3 more songs. so they played Some Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape and it was friggin amazing and after that they did talked for a lil bit which was friggin rad cuz they were like, guys, we're just normal dudes, nothing special, don't look up to us, cuz it's not bout us, it's about Jesus, and he's the way to live. something along with that, but it was rad, then they busted into two hardcore songs and i rocked out and pretty much broke my neck, lol, i pretty much ended up wearing a neck brace from friday-sunday, only at my house. now to the dumbest thing i've ever done. now to get into canada is not all that hard, gettin back into the US is a bit more hard. They wanna make sure your a US citizen, and we were pretty much positive they needed out birth certificates. All the guys put theirs in the backseat of the car, I was like nah i'll keep mine with me in my wallet where it's safe, WRONG. yea in the middle of the show i realized i'm really close to all these people and yea i'm gonna put my wallet in my front pocket cuz it's just more safe. Put it up front, it starts buggin me cuz it's just full of receipts. go to the back, take out the receipts, look through a few make sure i'm not throwing anything i wanted away.. oh crap! almost threw away that free fair pass! ah dang, glad i saved that". with that, i ripped up the receipts and threw them in the trash. ahead 4 hours later, 1 in the morning and us all tired as heck, not to mention still wearing our drenched t-shirts just full of sweat. pull up to the border, i reach into my wallet... oh crap... "yea umm guys? i don't have my birth certificate" daniel-"dude shut up" me-"nope, dude uh i like threw it away, i honestly don't have it" daniel-"@^#$" ........ crap. hah jk about the @#$% part, umm, but yea so wer'e like crappp and we just start praying and yup God rules and we got past the border. dang i wanted that all to be a very short story, oh well. but yea one thing that comes to mind when i think about how i threw away my birth certificate is in the Fire episode of the office and Ryan the Temp is just like, I can't believe i started the fire" hah in the car back i just kept saying "I can't believe i thew away my birth certificate" hah anyways.....
i don't really feel like typing anymore so yea i'll just finish this later. peace.

Tooth. Marriage. 9-11. Design.

well, I just realized it's been a while since i posted. I tried to not post EVERY day cuz then those stalkers get a lil too close to what i'm up to and I like to keep them guessing where i'm at for a few days.. jk, i hope i don't have any stalkers. but anyways, goin with the flow, life has just been happening. Nothing huge happening, just the usual problems wrong with my body, currently extreme toothache whenever i eat, which sucks, cuz yea i like to eat. i'm covered on medical but only 50% covered on dental work, so yea i gotta set up a payment plan with my dentist, how lame is that, so i can go in and get my teeth fixed cuz dang tooth pain is the worst.

what has happened. umm well, Amanda and North got married, which is friggin awesome, like i'm soo stoked and happy for them. must be friggin nice finding your spouse at 20, i wish. I realized that dang, i'm 21. Nice guys finish last. Girls are mean. God is great. and i've decided to stick with being a nice guy and treating girls hecka good, cuz yea right now they are dumb and want guys that treat them like crap, well don't want, but end up with, in a few years i'll be the nice guy and maybe some hot babe *cough* i mean this awesome girl with a great personality will come along and see me for me and not for what i have or how friggin good i look. jk jk. but yea girls are dumb and yes i'm single and yes it's great. *cough*

anyways, umm let's see. For those of you that don't know, i've started playin acoustic and i'm getting better everytime i play, so that's good. umm me and julia have decided to play a song together like uh i think next wednesday? at NPCC, this rad coffee shop in parkland off Garfield St by PLU. so we'll see how i do. if anyone wants to recommend a song, u can do that and i probably won't play it, but atleast u were nice and recommended a song. dang, this blog is pointless, please just stop reading now.

9-11. Over the last week? maybe two weeks now I've been researching the whole 9.11 situation. i'm not gonna go into it today because i'm not gonna rant until i research more and know a lot on both sides of the situation. the situation being how i don't believe it is possible that the series of improbable events all happening that day coincedently. i'll explain later. but something everyone should watch is this video that was just released yesterday by someone that video recorded the events of that day from their apartment about 500 yards away. be aware it's intense and about 30 minutes long, click here to go to my brothers blog where he posted it up online. just watch.

Anyways, i need to head to bed. If u guys didn't know, I do graphic design as a job right now, and everyday it leads more into a career as I enjoy it more and more as technology changes sooo we'll see. anyways, my new 5 minutes of fame is coming up. For those that haven't heard, my uncle invented this device that yes, is apparently gonna make him millions, and he asked me to design the box that it goes in, then he's gonna ship it off to China to be mass produced and then hopefully put in hardware stores all over the US, yay. and i get to design him a website. Jesse (my brother) i know your reading this. I feel bad sometimes that I have basically gotten like cool stuff to design and your like wayy better than me, like the Tooth and Nail stuff and then uncle dales stuff, but yea your my inspiration, so just remember that. I look up to your work so much, especially the Freedom Fest program u made in like a day hah, and it looks awesome, i ony wish to someday be as good as you in design. NOT hah, but seriously..

Being with Apple is a two-faced relationship.

The good side. I have a macbook now, it's amazing, at work it has increased my productivity just with it's ease and simplicity of use. For those that you a mac, click here for this cool lil page that shows some rad features that a lot of people don't know about on macs. okay i'm done talking good about mac.
The bad side. thisis just a huge rant. don't even read. i just needed to type it. I shipped my ipod to them on the 25th, after hearing about Ryan's trouble with them saying his case was cracked I looked all around my house for a digital camera to take pics with so that if something did happen, i would have photos to show that when i shipped it that it was fine, found a camera, batteries were dead. so i decided to take a chance and forget the photos, bad choice. On the 30th they say service was declined because "accidental damage or abuse was found, item being returned to owner." i wait, i wait, the 5th comes around and my ipod still isn't home. I call apple, after spending 25 minutes on hold i give up. I get a email the next day saying they still have my ipod and to reply if i want to get it repaired for $255. what?? i would be better off buying a refurbished ipod for $199 on their website. so i call apple, after 45 minutes on hold i finally connect to a person, the lady transfers me to one of their senior admin guys or whatever, he says he'll send me pictures of the ipod (which i received today) i also mentioned to him about this terrible discoloration i have on my hand rests on my macbook (i've had the thing for 5 days) and also parts of the screen are loose. He goes on to tell me i can drive to oregon and get it exchanged, so i have to drive ALL THE WAY back to oregon, gay. so this morning i got the photos of my ipod. yes, im pissed. theres a dent on the back. Apple says it came like this, and it wasn't like this before, so i guess imma have to make a claim to DHL. I didn't ship the item, apple sent me a box, so hopefully they put insurance on it, or basically i'm done for.

Now that I have finished that, i do like my macbook. u should all buy one so we can have those fun video chats cuz it's kinda funny. oh yea the other night i was really bored and i made this video. It was late and yea, i dont even know what it's about but it's kinda funny. sweet, back to work.

Warning: If you don't like or enjoy poker, there's no point in reading this section hah. back to poker, this man is amazing hah, he's always been my favorite poker player along with Chris (Jesus) Ferguson. Both are amazing players, super smart, Chris has like a PhD in Computer Science and all this other stuff too. but yea i just got done watching a section of the 2006 WSOP game and Negreanu seriously like said out loud what cards people had, like almost every hand he played. it's amazing. but yea, anyways, if u didn't know, i love playing poker. Too bad it's illegal and a felony for gambling online in WA. oh well, i'm done with that anyways, i just play home games, email me if u wanna play cuz we play a lot, actually not as much anymore, but since a bunch of the girls are goin to college it'll just be the guys hangin out a lot equaling many poker nights to come.

now u can read. so i got a macbook, it's amazing. I never thought in 11 years in my hardcore PC computing days that I would switch to a Mac. Being an expert on computers, started building them at age 10 ( first computer was a 486 with like 32 megs of ram, hah), moving up to now, being able to build any computer blah blah, i actually got out of the whole computer thing like a year or so ago which kinda sucks, but now i just do more stuff on the computers instead of building, so much new stuff comes out all the time, it's insane. back to macs, yea this macbook is amazing, OS X Tiger is a very nice operating system and can seriously handle so much, luckily i got a 1 gig of ram for my digital design stuff and hopefully soon some video editing again. it's so late i'm just like blabbering but yea, its' fun. anyways, i love this computer and i actually love the video camera built-in, me and danielle had a video chat today and i took the laptop around the office at work showing her what it looked like. I was mentioning to benj that someone should go to a foriegn country and do a video chat cuz that would be rad, like when people go to france next june that'll be cool, and in january out in montana i'll be sure to do some nice video chats lol. sweet this is long i'm tired. goodnight all.

Sunshine. Indian Food. Momentum.

i woke up today. the first night that my whole family was home (they were all gone camping for like 10 days last week), woke up to Teddy (my dog) bustin down my half broken door thinking i wasn't there so he could sniff around for some food, lol. he does that a lot. got up, went to work, then to indian food with some friends, first indian food i've had, it was pretty good, had rice, lamb? in some orange sauce and some pita type thing bread with garlic? yea i don'tk now, i've never had it. but yea now im back at work.. i need to get back to work. I do graphic design at purpose printing, my boss is the nicest guy in the world. I love it when customers think you can bust out awesome stuff in a day when they don't hardly tell u what they want at all, like a borchure, here's some brochures i want mine to look like and heres 5 pages of information, just pick and choose what u want in it, lol, NO how bout u show me what u want cuz i know i'm gonna spend a week making what i "think" they want and then i show it to them and they are like cool, wel i want these changes and basically want a WHOLE new redesign and are like yea that's good, sweet tell me in the first place next time. especially when they say, oh i don't have pictures but u can find some online. let u know, finding certain pictures online takes a very long time, i have much experience with this, lol. and for a brochure you need quite a few pictures, so instead of ranting i'm gonna get back to work and be a miracle worker for this guy so he can be happy and get his brochures by thursday. lame. oh yea, and i'm playing at momentum tonight, so that's cool, i've been playing acoustic more lately, so i'm gonna play acoustic next tuesday night, that'll be fun. so.. oh yea i'll end with this, i just started listenin to The Academy Is.. and they are pretty good, pretty much perfect for my situation. listen to them.

The New Beginning

Well, i decided to start a new blog. ain't it cool? blogs are kinda pointless, well not really, they are really useful to stalkers and obsessors, buttt i'm sure i don't have any, so i'm safe for now, hah. I kinda wanted to do a blog just so i could like kinda keep a journal of like what i did each day cuz it's cool to like look back a year and see what i was doing. soo, today, woke up, pretty much hung out at the house all day watching tv and downloading new music, watched a lil poker, played a lil poker. um, yea kinda just have procrastinated cleaning this darn house all day and yup, it's still a mess.
Um, a lot of people are leaving for college, last thursday nick vargus and mike left for Whitworth, Evan following on saturday and then today Brittany left and tomorrow Molly leaves. following that will be Maddie going off to hawaii, hah, luckyy. and then in a few weeks everyone leaves for Central and then UW, fun stuff. so pretty much this Fall is either gonna suck, or be awesome, since like all the girls are gone and it's just us guys hah.
Road Trip. Comin up soon, anyone who wants to go, right now it's me, nick haisch, daniell collins and greg luluaha, whatever the frick his last name is. we're going to Vancouver, B.C. for Underoath and He Is Legend, also Silverstein and some other band i don't know about. but yea, it'll probably be just guys, sorry ladies, but we're gonna drive up on thursday, see Underoath, stay at some hotel, hang out friday then head home, unless it's cool up there.
